Chocolate Truffle cake

Ingredients:

For Making Chocolate Ganache:

  • 150 ml dark chocolate
  • 75 ml whipped cream

For Chocolate Cake:

  • 1 cup maida/all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1/2 tsp coffee powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup grated dark chocolate

For Sugar Syrup:

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Procedure:

For Chocolate Cake:

  1. Remove the ring and whistle from pressure cooker and add salt of thin layer in bottom of cooker.
  2. close the cooker and preheat on medium flame for 8-10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl take yogurt in a room temperature then add powdered sugar ,baking soda,baking powder and mix it.(Rest 10 minutes)
  4. In a bowl take hot water and coffee powder and mix well.
  5. After in yogurt mixture add oil and vanilla essence and mix well.
  6. Add coffee mixture and mix everything.
  7. Then add seive maida and cocoa powder and mix it for 5 minutes.
  8. Chocolate cake batter is ready.
  9. Take a cake tin line with butter paper and pour the cake mix in it.
  10. Tap 2-3 times cake tin remove air bubbles.
  11. Put cake tin in preheated pressure cooker.
  12. Close the cooker and bake on medium flame for 30-35 minutes.
  13. After check the cake is  ready or not. So take the toothpeak and insert middle of cake this toothpeak cleanly out from cake so cake is ready.
  14. Cake cool at room temperature.
  15. Loose the sides with help of knife and take dish and flip a cake.
  16. Cut the cake horizontally in two layers,then upper layer take firstly and soak the layer with sugar syrup and then spread whipped cream with the help of spatula.
  17. Then spread grated gark chocolate.
  18. Put bottom layer of cake and soak the layer with sugar syrup and then spread whipped cream with the help of spatula.
  19. Add chocolate ganache on the cake and spread it evenly with the help of flat spatula.
  20. Cover all sides of cake with chocolate ganache.
  21. Smoothly spread with help of spatula.
  22. Eggless chocolate truffle cake is ready.
  23. You can decorate with icing/chocolate chips.

For Making Sugar Syrup:

  1. Take water and sugar .
  2. Boil it for 4-5 minutes on slow flame and cool at room temperature and then used.

For Making Chocolate Ganache:

  1. In a pan take whipped cream and turn off the heat just before cream is boil.
  2. Add dark chocolate and mix atleast 2 minutes it into smooth paste.
  3. Chocolate ganache is ready.
